Hello and welcome! Thanks for stopping by!
I’m Laura and I started I do deClaire way back in 2013 a few months after our first daughter, Claire was born. After I became a mom for the first time I didn’t want to lose my love of fashion and clothing. I started blogging as a way to hold myself accountable and show others that fashion doesn’t have to be time consuming, expensive, or uncomfortable. It’s all about finding what you love and what you feel best in. And you can do it all on a budget!
A little more about myself: I married Matt, my high school sweetheart right out of college. We spent over 10 years in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area where I went to graduate school for speech pathology and worked in the public school system. Our oldest daughter Claire is our Christmas baby born on Christmas of 2012. We experienced unexplained secondary infertility while trying to have another child and after several years went through IVF twice finally becoming pregnant with our second blessing, Aveline. Her name appropriately means ‘wished for child.’ Our family is so blessed in many ways! On the summer of 2018 we moved from outside of Milwaukee to Naperville, Illinois. Matt got a job with a different company and with the move I decided to take a break from work and enjoy time at home as a stay at home mom. Currently I am working part-time as a Speech Pathologist and enjoying time with my family!
Hope you enjoy and thanks for reading!
