Pairing two items with details together like this embellished sweater and plaid vestespecially in the same color family, can really create an interesting, but not overdone outfit. Embellishments are one of my favorite elements on a piece of clothing. An embellished item can pair well with a solid or print making it versatile. And it really glams up even the most casual outfit. And you don’t need to accessorize. The jewelry is already on the clothing!

So needless to say, I am a magpie when it comes to anything with embellishments on it. They really help me feel confident about an outfit. This Kate Spade sweater was one I found on thredUP last year and I love the fit, color (total sucker for anything navy), and of course the amazing embellishments! Now I have my eye on this light pink top, grey shoulder tee, grey skirt, or these metallic or floral flats!
