Quite a while ago Alecz from forsevenseasons gave me the idea to pair light blue, navy and coral together. At the time I had recently purchased this skirt and was looking for some additional ways to style it. The color combination was one I wouldn’t have thought of, but I loved it!
You can take inspiration from a multitude places and people. But I gain confidence from making it my own. Sometimes you can almost exactly recreate an outfit you see on pinterest or elsewhere. Sometimes you don’t have the exact items. But don’t let it phase you! What is it you like? The colors together? A specific fit or detail? See what you already have that is similar and use it instead. I had the skirt, but instead of a striped top, I choose to wear this new navy blouse from SheIn and add coral in with a blazer. I really liked the way the pleating in the skirt is echoed in the blouse. It works casually styled or dressier like this outfit, tucked or untucked!
