Thank goodness I was finally able to piece this May Purchases post together! I have a running spreadsheet of my spending and the carryover from each month. It’s been going on about 9 years now. For organization, I also include c/o items on the spreadsheet so I make sure to include them in my monthly budget post. Well, after 9 years of use somehow this document got lost. I have no idea how this happened. Just last week I updated it. After 5 different data recovery applications and numerous other attempts I just said forget it and went to bed. So this post is a day late (and now a few dollars short since I don’t know what the carryover should be for my budget. ARG!). In the end, I just started from scratch. I think I included everything from this month.
The only purchases I made were the rattan earrings and shorts. The shorts were very spur of the moment after a phenomenal shopping trip to Goodwill earlier this week. I scored the shorts, Under Armour running shorts, an oil painting, gorgeous 2’x3′ frame with a mat to replace one that was damaged above our fireplace, and 3 Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates (my MIL collects them)-all for under $30!
Swimsuit season begins this weekend with the neighborhood pool opening up. I’m so ready with the cute suits from Shein. I got quite a few last year as well and they have all held up well, apart from 1 getting stained in the wash. But that was my washing machine’s fault, not a quality issue.

As you all know, I’ve been blessed to continue as an Aventura ambassador. Their spring and summer lines are so beautiful! It’s just a rainbow of color! I’ve been using the scarves as swim coverups and they work really well. I absolutely love the dresses and romper, too. I am looking forward to sharing more of these items with you and how I wear them as the summer continues!
