Quite a few of these items I actually purchased back in May, but didn’t receive until June so I included them on this month’s post. I needed some more summer maternity clothing and was fortunate to find a few shorts on sale at Old Navy and thredUp. The Old Navy shorts are just ok, but at this point I can’t be too picky, because I wasn’t finding much in my size. They are both over the belly style and the belly band starts really low and so it’s hard to find shirts that cover it, but aren’t so long they cover the entire shorts! And the shorts pucker oddly where the shorts material is sewn into the belly band. I’ve had this problem with pants, too. I’m hoping it won’t be as noticeable as my belly grows. The pair I got from thredUp are a below the belly style and don’t have any issues, but they do run big so they are a little large on me right now. Although many of my tops still fit, I needed more maternity tops for length so I got a few from Old Navy and a couple from Walmart (that I’ve been using my cricut machine to iron on vinyl designs to).
Besides maternity clothing, I’ve been focusing more on accessories. When I’m trying to choose items for collaborations, accessories are a great solution because they fit no matter what your size! I did find a few things that aren’t maternity, but work well. The kimono and dress from Sammydress are great! I am really impressed with the price and quality, especially with the maxi dress.
For next month I might pick up a few items while we are on vacation in Ireland, but we will see. I do love the shopping there and have my favorite stores since I’ve been fortunate to visit quite a few times! I might focus on finding cute Irish kid’s clothing instead though!
What are you clothing and accessories are on your wish list for July?
