This week Matt started his new job at a new company. For the first few months he will be traveling during the week and home for the weekends. And so begins the new cycle. With as much as he used to travel, I know I can handle it for shorter periods of time. But in the beginning with all the upheaval of getting moving estimates, fixing the few things on our home found from the home inspection, getting the girls to summer activities, and taking care of the home…I admit I am fairly overwhelmed. Matt is helping as much as he can from a distance with calling mortgages and getting home insurance switched, but I am already looking forward to the weekend when he is home again. Having the support of your spouse near you can really make a difference!
So when I’m feeling a bit stressed and want a little pick me up I love to add a touch of glam to my outfits with a bag, sequin detail, statement jewelry, or a heel. I’ve been seeing white shoes a lot recently and wasn’t sure if I could make them work for me, but I love the pop of white they add. White is one of the colors I really gravitate towards more during the summer. These white heels have a beautiful bow and rose gold detailing which really drew me towards them. I’ve gotten a few Jenn Ardor shoes before and they are consistently impressing me with the quality for the price, comfort, and fit. I am between a 7 1/2 and 8 and I’ve gotten size 8 in all my shoes and they have been perfect. Hopefully Matt and I will have time for a date night one of these weekends and I can pull these heels out again soon!
