My recent ‘uniform’ has been leggings and a cozy sweatshirt or sweater. My busy life keeps me moving and I need to have clothes that are comfortable and move with me. Oh, and that are warm, because with lows of -19, it isn’t like we are walking around in a sauna or anything! I have a few pairs of black leggings, but honestly after a while they got boring. My leggings that I wear to the gym are in fun colors, and I decided that a printed or colored pair that I could wear for everyday would be a nice way to switch it all up. Meadowlark Clothing offered to send me a pair of their leggings and I fell in love with their crimson scrollwork leggings and knew they would work for my everyday life. You can use code LBAMBRICK for 25% off your purchase. For reference I am wearing a size small. I would say they run true to size, but if in doubt, size up. They fit similar to athletic leggings (probably because they are athletic leggings) and so have more of a compression fit.
I decided to show you all 2 ways to wear them. The first look is a little more athleisure inspired with a grey sweatshirt tunic and slip ons. The second outfit was a little dressier with a sweater and booties. I wore both of these in the space of a week and although I liked them both, my favorite was the second one with my new SheIn tunic. It was so cozy and I still felt more pulled together with the booties and sweater versus the sweatshirt. This sweater was another one of my recent SheInitems. It’s a relaxed fit so you can easily get your normal size. I am wearing a medium because I wanted a little extra length, but a small would have easily fit. You can use code QIDODECLAIRE15 for 15% off through 3/31.
Last week’s most popular post was Lydia from Chic on the Cheap. She is lucky to be experiencing some beautiful spring-like weather while staying in California and I’m jealous she can bare her legs without tights! Doesn’t she look fabulous?!
