I last wore this skirt back in February to church with a light sweater and leather coat. I’ve tried maxi skirts in the past, but they haven’t had staying power in my closet and I think it’s because I haven’t found the right one. This pretty pleated number with its dark floral works well in fall and winter, but it does have soft pastel and brighter colors in it so you can wear it in spring and summer. I paired it with a lavender sweater topI had from last year. Maybe I’ll even have the opportunity to wear it to church again this summer! I think what was key with this skirt is the variety of color in the print. And the wide elastic waistband makes it comfortable and easy to wear. What I especially love is the fabric and the way it almost floats as you walk. This skirt is unfortunately no longer available, but I did link to a similar one! What do you look for in a maxi skirt or dress?
