I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day and long weekend! We had the opportunity to have a lovely dinner outside and talk to Claire about why we celebrate Memorial Day. She has a long family history on both sides of veterans who have served and given their lives in her family tree. We are so grateful to all those soldiers who have defended our country and made the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you to all military members and their families!
In a somewhat shallow topic change, let’s move onto the outfit! These beautiful floral culottes were speaking to me when I first saw them! Although they are a dark floral print, they can be paired with so many bright spring colors. And they are truly lightweight making them totally wearable in warmer weather. I added my new sleeveless coral knitfrom Loft Outlet for the perfect match! Although the fabric of these pants is a bit sheer, they are partially lined; to about mid-thigh. These pants come with a matching fabric belt, but I skipped it for this outfit. To play up the soft blue, I added a matching blue pendant necklace. It’s fun pulling colors from floral fabrics and finding things in your closet that work with it or complement it! Currently they are only $12 which is an insanely good steal!
