Thanks for all your good luck wishes about buying a car on Friday! We headed to a dealership about an hour away (because even though the dealerships close by said they would match prices they wouldn’t). I think having so many Toyota dealerships in and around Chicago really drives the prices down. Well worth the drive! We headed home 3 hours later with our new Toyota Camry hybrid. Matt is already competing with himself trying to best his gas mileage records!
Matt let me I had a chance to drive it up to Green Lake, WI on Sunday to meet my brother, his girlfriend, and my niece for a beautiful day by the lake! We had a picnic lunch and spent time building sand castles, going in the water, and finished the day with ice cream cones. The wind made it a little chilly for me, but that didn’t stop Claire! She loved trying to dunk her face in the water and playing with the sand rakes and shovels. All in all a successful and fun weekend!
