Can a gal living in the midwest ever have too many coats? I rarely show coats on the blog, but over the years I have gotten some good ones. And for good reason! So much of the year they are needed here. It’s so boring to continue wearing the same neutral coat. Quite frankly, I get sick of it. So now I have a variety! In fact, our house has 2 closets for coats-one by our garage door and one by our front door. Is that a midwest thing? Our last house did, too! Haha!

Of course when Lovestitch offered to send me some fall pieces from their website, I had to get at least one coat. Well actually, this is called a plaid coatigan. Potato, poTATo, right? There were some nice options to choose from, but the soft colors and plaid print of this caught my eye. I’m so glad it did, too. It’s the softest coat I own by far! This plaid beauty is a great length for dresses, too. I paired it with a teal floral dress from Lovestitch. The colors of the flowers in the dress and the plaid lines match really well. Since the prints are so different in size and type they don’t compete with each other for attention either.
How many coats do you honestly think you own? I think I need to go check my closets. But it certainly is nice to have some options like a plaid coatigan, am I right?
