I was recently contacted to start a partnership with Shopbop. My first thought was, “Did they get the wrong email address?” Thankfully they didn’t. Or at least they were kind enough to pretend otherwise. So of course, there wasn’t any way I was going to say no. Shopbop has amazing designer brands, free 3 day shipping, and free returns. Many of the items on the site are typically out of my price range, but there are definitely items that are worth the splurge for quality like jewelry, bags, and shoes. When you are on a budget you really need to pick and choose what is worth spending your money on. Otherwise going cheap for everything is going to result in replacing items over and over again. I’ve been learning that as I have been refining my closet over the past few years. Sometimes you get lucky and find an amazing piece while thrifting. Sometimes the perfect piece is something you have to dig a little deeper in your pocketbook for. And if you love it and it makes you feel good that’s all that really matters.
