I am not sure why, but I had a hard time styling this skirt for winter. A classic case of over-thinking. For winter I decided to try my polka dot skirt with more muted colors like gray in the form of a nice thick sweater. I’ve never tried this sweater with a skirt and I like the combination a lot. It was actually in my donate pile, but I think we can say it’s been officially moved back to the closet now!

I’ve been wanting to wear my new hat from Grace Hats and thought it would be a nice compliment to this skirt with its navy ribbon. I love the earth tones in the hate and mimicked them in the rest of the outfit with my sweater, socks, and bag. And don’t forget the layers because that’s the only way I can bear wearing skirts during winter!
