I have a few things on order that I didn’t include in my total. I found a pair of pink heels I really like and hopefully they work out for me. I also had to return a few things to thredUP so I placed another order with my credits late last week. Obviously I didn’t include those since I don’t know if I will be keeping them (but I really hope so)!
With the exception of the fur vest, it was a very summer, boho inspired month for me. I wanted to replace my fur vest with one with longer fur so that was the only purchase that will have to wait to be worn (sadly). If you are ever looking for a fur vest, check out thredUP! Whenever I try to find similar links, they are always fairly expensive, but I often see them there for less than $20 (and here is a $10 off code for your first purchase, too)! Everything else I’ve worn at the very least once. When you want to wear things right away, you know they are good purchases. I am not even sure if I can pick a favorite!
Overall, I have been trying to spend a little less of my own money just because I have been doing a lot of collaborations recently. It doesn’t feel totally honest to focus on ‘budgeting’ if most of my items are c/o. And of course when approached, it can be very hard to turn collaborations down! It’s a fine line to walk and I am definitely still learning to balance. I’ve also been spending some of my budget with other activities like going to paint nites with friends, pedicures, and a bachelorette party which leaves less for clothing anyway.
For next month I don’t really have anything in mind, but I am sure something will catch my eye! What is on your wish list for July?
