Do you have all your Christmas shopping done? I am thankfully almost there. Just a few more errands for random items I can’t get online. We did the bulk of our shopping this year online just for the ease of it all. I found some really great deals through using a variety of online sites like ebates and dealspotr. I search for available deals on items via dealspotr, and then use ebates to get a percentage back on my purchases! I recently became an ambassador for dealspotr and wanted to share my thoughts.
My impression of dealspotr is that of a facebook of deals. You can follow stores and users, post deals of your own and search for deals for a particular store. It is easy to find coupon codes and deals on selected items. An aspect that I really like is that by posting deals, having people like your deals, and other actions you earn ‘karma points’. After a certain amount of karma points you receive amazon gift cards. You can join using my referral link for extra karma points for signing up. I have been using the site for over a month and have received two gift cards so far. The levels get progressively harder to achieve, but the gift cards get higher in amount. I think the only criticisms I have so far is it can be hard to find people to follow. You also can’t search for specific items (for example if I wanted to search for ‘sweaters’).
