Now is around the time of year I slowly begin making Christmas cookies. Each week I made several batches of one type of cookie to freeze. My first was Saltine Toffee. Can you believe I made 3 batches for Thanksgiving and there is barely any left?! Over the next 2 weeks I’m making Oreo Truffles and fudge. I’m also trying the viral candied cranberries.

Let’s Discuss!
Since we host Thanksgiving for our family, we have quite a few leftovers. If you are looking for some ways to reuse your leftovers, make sure you check out my post from a few years back. This year I plan to try Easy Asparagus Chicken Soup and Stuffing waffles as new ways to use our asparagus casserole and stuffing.
Over the past 2 weeks I’ve made 2 new recipes. Here are my thoughts:
- Slowcooker Beef Stroganoff– The kids gobbled this up and kept asking for the leftovers. It was ridiculously easy. I even added the noodles in towards the end of the cooking and they cooked in the slow cooker with a little extra water.
- French Onion Meatballs– I loved these and so did the rest of the family. They took a bit of time to make, but the flavor was so good.
