Romper (similar, similar) | Heels | Bag (save option)
I bought this darling romper while on vacation with the Blonde Squad in late July. It was a bit pricier than something I would normally purchase, but sometimes you just need to splurge! The moment I saw it, I knew I needed it. This darling pink eyelet romper is the perfect birthday outfit for my upcoming birthday on Saturday. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it online. I did make sure to link to quite a few similar options though!

I still can’t quite believe it, but I’ll be celebrating my 40th birthday this Saturday. Gasp! A whole new age group for races. Haha! In honor of my birthday, I thought it would be fun to share 40 things about myself.
- I was born in El Paso, TX.
- I’m the oldest child. My brother is 3 1/2 years younger than me.
- My dad was in the army so we moved around a fair amount as a child, but I always loved the experiences.
- In 5th grade and part of 6th grade, my family lived in South Korea for 1 1/2 years.
- Of all the places I lived as a child, South Korea was my favorite.
- I have run 7 marathons, but haven’t run any since having children.
- In high school there was a 300 mile club to run 300 miles in 3 months. I was first girl to join.
- In kindergarten I joined Girl Scouts. I earned my Silver Award and Gold Award.
- Now I’m a leader for both of my girls’ Girl Scout troops.
- Claire is such a determined Girl Scout cookie seller and has always sold more than I ever did!
- I’ve known my husband for over 25 years.
- We started dating our senior year of high school.
- My favorite color is blue, but I love bright pink and turquoise, too.
- I absolutely hate coffee. Tea drinker all the way!
- My favorite way to spend a day would be curled up with a good book-and no interruptions.
- I have traveled to over 25 countries so far and hope to visit many more.
- My favorite city in the world is London.
- For a while, I wasn’t sure I wanted to pursue a career in speech therapy so I took a year off before going to graduate school for my M.S.
- I always have dessert after dinner.
- In 4th grade I started collecting pencils. I like to buy one each place I travel. I have over 800 now.
- I can wiggle my ears.
- In college I started getting migraines. At the worst, I have had them weekly. They are fairly under control now.
- Before having children, I used to do a lot of community theater. It was so fun!
- I can’t sing. At all.
- My dream vacation would be to a hut over the water like Bora Bora.
- I’m left handed. But I do sports with my right hand.
- My husband and I have the same birthday, but he is older than me.
- My favorite flower is a lily.
- My family can trace their roots back to the Revolutionary War.
- One of my creative outlets is crafting, especially home decor.
- While I like to cook, my favorite thing to make are desserts.
- The 2 desserts I make most often and am most known for are Peanut Butter Bars and Cookie Bars.
- My hair has always been wavy, but it really got curlier after having kids.
- I prefer showers to baths.
- I have had 6 surgeries in my life.
- My favorite books are the Harry Potter series and Cormoran Strike series.
- In fact, reading Harry Potter and watching the movies is one of my favorite ways to connect with my kids (in addition to baking with them).
- I do not have a very good memory so I try to write everything down I can.
- I almost always eat cereal for breakfast and have for at least 10 years.
- The hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through was secondary infertility and IVF to get pregnant with Aveline. But I’m grateful for it all.
