Yes, we are finally back from our South Dakota and Yellowstone adventure. It was so magical and we all had some really incredible experiences not to mention all the wildlife we were able to spot. I’m hoping to share more next week once we have had the opportunity to settle back in. I had put together a capsule wardrobe for a roadtrip earlier in July. I ended up taking a few of those items on our roadtrip and of course added a few more. Although I primarily packed very casual and athletic clothing for comfort in the car and the hikes that we did, I did pack a few cuter items like this embroidered sleeveless top from Aventura. It was perfect for a warmer day where our walking was limited to paved areas of the park.

This day we visited Old Faithful, Prismatic Springs, and Yellowstone Lake. The Lindale top is made from 100% organic cotton and features smocking on the back of the bodice. These features really help you stay cool and make it easy to move around. I paired it with the Parker short which is also made of primarily organic cotton, but has 3% spandex to a little extra give. I loved the washed in feel of these shorts. They are so comfortable. Did you know that Aventura makes convertible drawcords on some of their shorts and pants? You can secure the elastic waist while showing it off or hiding it. How cool! And of course, these items are machine washable so they are easy to clean. My kind of travel style!
Last week’s favorite post was from Alli at Simply Small Town with her fun weekly beauty and fashion sale finds. So many cute things!
