We have been having some practically unheard of warm weather recently. I was in shorts yesterday! My daffodils are sure to bloom this week and all sorts of buds are out. It’s all so early for us. While this is too good to last, the warm weather has me thinking about transitional spring looks. Typically, we are in a region that gets spring later so we are often reaching for the spring-vibe without baring much skin (an April snow isn’t rare). The Misha embroidered sweater from Aventura works well as a transitional piece. The pretty floral embroidery speaks to spring, but since it’s a sweater, it can still add warmth to your outfits. See how I’ve styled it 8 ways!
With a Skirt
Depending on the day (or hour) of spring the weather may be nice enough for bare legs. Hurray for skirts! The feminine embroidery on the Misha sweater pairs perfectly with a skirt. The intricate detailing of the embroidery adds a touch of elegance and sophistication, while the lightweight fabric of the skirt makes it perfect for the transitional weather of spring.

With White
Since navy is such a dark shade, why not lighten it up with white? By pairing the sweater with white pants, the brighter colors in the sweater really pop. Another way to show off the beautiful embroidery is to wear the sweater over your shoulders. This look is becoming more popular with the ‘old money’ trend that seems to still be going strong. And this sweater is perfect because it really adds more interest to the outfit as well.

With Olive Green
Navy and olive work so well together anyway. When I saw the green in the embroidery of the sweater, it’s an obvious choice to emphasize it with some olive green pants. Olive green pants are also something many of us already have in our closets so it’s a win-win.

With a Blazer
Although this combination isn’t necessarily the best way to share the beauty of the sweater, I did want to share another way to layer it. The Aventura Misha sweater is a nice mid-weight sweater that can be layered over or under other items. By pairing it with denim and a neutral blazer, you have a polished, casual outfit for spring. Add some cute flats and you are good to go!

Over a Dress
Last fall I shared this dress 5 ways for fall. Here is another way! I love how the floral embroidery plays off the floral print in the dress. It’s low-key print mixing done perfectly for spring. Add a simple pair of sneakers and you have a casual spring outfit.

With Some Leather
What is one way to toughen up a feminine floral vibe? Add leather of course! To keep this outfit from getting too edgy, pair it with leather in a softer color like light brown. If the weather is still chilly- you may be in luck! Many faux leather pants are lined with soft fleece making them nice and cozy to wear!

With a Linen Pant
I love these lightweight striped linen pants. The are so comfortable and breezy in the summer. And they go with so many things! I love how they picked up the blue from the sweater. Sometimes they can look a bit grey against colors. See 8 other ways to wear them here.

With Dressy Shorts
Sometimes shorts are easier to wear than a skirt. They offer the same coverage without the wind or bending over issues a skirt may have. Shorts are often thought to be more casual so pairing them with the Misha embroidered sweater gives a dressier vibe, especially when paired with chunky heels or sandals.
