Have you noticed Shein’s MOTF line yet? It’s been around for a few years, and is going strong. The Shein line “MOTF” stands for “Message of the Future”. It is a collection of clothing that aims to promote a forward-thinking message through its designs. The clothing in this line features a business chic dress code with professional wear that embraces femininity through colors and details such as metallic accents and geometric shapes and lines. The color palette is primarily neutral with brights and pastels mixed in. The line includes a variety of clothing items, including tops, dresses, skirts, and pants, as well as accessories such as bags and jewelry. Overall, the Shein MOTF line is a fun and unique way to add some futuristic flair to your work wardrobe.
With the MOTF items I’ve tried so far, I have noticed sizing is more Americanized. That means I don’t size up like I do with Shein. Pieces are often lined and made of better quality materials. With their Fall ’23 season, they incorporated cashmere and wool into some of their products.
I paired 2 MOTF wool items I received with my new tweed Vivaia block heels. They are SO comfortable! I got a pair of Mary Janes and these chunky heels. This stylish block heel provides sophistication and stability, comfort for you to walk or stand for hours. The pressure relief insole they have cushions your feet exactly where you need it. These are extremely versatile, can easily transition from the office to a casual setting. Pair them with trousers, and a blouse, or a dress. Use code LOVEVIV for 10% off! Here is how I’ve been wearing them with the MOTF sweaters I received as well as my thoughts on the sweaters.
Wool Blend Sweater

I requested a cashmere to try out, but it sold out so they couldn’t ship me one. This wool blend is an alternative. I’m wearing a size small and I like the slightly oversized fit. This turtleneck is very soft and cozy. It has a nice stretch to it. The price is good for the amount of wool it contains. This sweater is primarily polyester with only about 5% wool.

I actually wore this outfit yesterday to take one of our nieces back after she visited a few days. The Vivaia chunky heels look so cute with wide leg jeans for an elevated casual outfit.

100% Wool
In regards to quality, I am more impressed with this MOTF all wool turtleneck. It’s under $40! This classic piece fits TTS and looks and feels higher quality. It’s nice and warm. This turtleneck goes with everything!
Black turtleneck-c/o MOTF | Tweed block heels-c/o Vivaia | Skirt (similar, similar) | Tights | Bag
For an outfit for work or church, I paired it with a knit skirt and tweed chunky heels from Vivaia. I love the preppy vibe this outfit has. It’s actually warm, too! These tights are fleece lined from amazon. I love that they look sheer, but are actually nice and cozy.

Would you try the MOTF wool and cashmere items for yourself after seeing these? To me, they seem like classic, timeless pieces. The prices are pretty good, but I would likely stick with the all-wool items. I hope to try the cashmere pieces soon and see how the quality is.
