The holiday season is the perfect time to showcase your style with some festive outfits. If you have more of a social life than I do and have several events to attend, a skirt and top combination may be the way to go. There are so many mix and match options to create. This outfits combination may be easier on the budget because you can create more unique outfits from the same pieces. Personally, I enjoy the beautiful, feminine pieces from Chicwish. Many have special details like gold thread, rhinestones, special buttons, or other elements that really set it apart. Here are some holiday outfit ideas with two Chicwish skirts.
Chicwish Houndstooth Pencil Skirt
The houndstooth pencil skirt adds a touch of classic elegance, but the enlarged houndstooth print makes a bold statement. The effect is quite eye-catching! I’m very impressed with the skirt design. However the fit and quality are exceptional as well. I’m wearing a size S-M and it fits perfectly. The skirt is made of a thick knit material. It has a stretch that forms to your size and shape, but is still thick enough to hide any lumps or bumps.
For the first outfit with this houndstooth skirt with a festive red cardigan. I was completely taken by the darling bow-shaped buttons when I first saw it. To play up the sparkle on the buttons, I added some clip on bows for my shoes as well. They are an affordable and easy way to add some glamour to an outfit.
For the second houndstooth skirt outfit, I wanted to play up the classic black and white color combination so I kept the rest of the outfit simple, but elevated. Chicwish makes pieces that are basic, but still have aspects that stand out like this white sweater. It’s clearly better than a basic white sweater. The small cable knit throughout adds interest and the wrap style is very flattering. Sometimes I avoid wrap styles just because they can be low cut at times. This wrap sweater is not at all. It is made of a warm, thick knit that is so cozy to wear.

Chicwish Faux Leather Midi Skirt
Faux leather skirts are a hot trend this winter season, adding a touch of edginess to any outfit. They come in a variety of colors and lengths, making them versatile for any occasion. Pairing a midi faux leather skirt with a chunky sweater makes for a perfect cozy yet stylish winter look. By choosing a light neutral skirt like this ivory one from Chicwish, you are sure to find many options to pair with it already in your closet. And this skirt feels even better than it looks! I was shocked how smooth and buttery it is in person. For reference, I’m wearing a size medium. Here are some cute ideas with it for holiday events.
Have you ever gone for a winter white look? Monochromatic looks always have an elegant, chic vibe. An all-white outfit emulates snow so it still has a hint of festivity. I added my new favorite dark green bag for contrast and to subtly inject a bit more of a holiday vibe.

For my second outfit I paired a cinnamon brown sweater with the faux leather skirt. This all-neutral outfit is very cozy, but the skirt and leather material really elevate it. I like to add tall boots with skirts to help with warmth. By wearing boots of a similar color, I hope to elongate my legs since sometimes midi skirts can visually cut them off.

You knew I had to play up the pink somewhere, right?! This tank top is an oldie, but a goodie. Bright pink really adds a playful, cherry touch to a lady jacket. Lady jackets have been trending, but it’s fun to mix them up a bit with color. The leather adds a bit of edginess, too.

And finally, since this is about holiday outfit ideas with two Chicwish skirts, I had to try the red cardigan with this skirt as well. It’s too good to only show it once! This time I kept the accessories in a darker burgundy shade to complement the red, but not take away from it. I really like the color palette together!
I hope you have some fun events to attend this holiday season! What is your outfit style when you go?
Last week’s favorite post was from Mireille at Chez Mireille with her beach outfits from her recent trip. Are you as jealous as I am?
