These Aventura shorts may look a bit familiar. That’s because just over a month ago, I did a huge remix of the pants version. Aventura has both a shorts and pants version of this Breeze style. I like them so much I own both, but in different colors. The shorts are in the sandy taupe version and I own the Breeze pants in shade black iris. Both colors are in neutral tones and very versatile though. Besides their versatility, another reason I like the Breeze style is because they are so lightweight. We’ve had some really hot and humid days. These shorts are pull on with a comfortable elastic/drawstring waist and breathable fabric. I’ve worn the Breeze shorts several times this summer, but this time I paired it with the Camilla top from Aventura. It’s another very breathable piece with a full button front and swiss dot fabric. Details like this make it a wonderful elevated-basic piece. It’s basic enough to go with almost any bottom, but the details really elevate it. Outfits like this one with elevated basics, a mix of textures/fabrics, and a bit of added color like my turquoise scarf are my go-to for summer!
