A couple of months ago I began featuring one item of Aventura clothing from their spring/summer collection and styling it multiple ways. You can see the Rochelle top 7 ways and the Aventura Breeze Pant 8 ways. This month I’m tackling the Aventura Stirling Dress.
The Stirling dress is a classic shirtdress style. It features a polished collar and full button front, from neckline to hem, give this dress structure. It has a skirt lining to help with modesty and is made in a cute paisley print in 100% organic cotton. This a-line dress is versatile and flattering.
Turquoise
There are so many colors in this bright paisley print, it’s hard to find a shade this dress doesn’t look good with! I layered a turquoise sweater over top with boots and a hat for a fall look.

Leather
Instead of covering up the top half of the dress, this time I found a skirt to cover up the bottom half. This skirt works well because of the thick, heavy fabric. It smooths and hides any bulges a dress underneath a skirt may create. It also helps to transition this summer dress. Leather gives off a fall vibe.

Sneakers
I tried hard to use different types of shoes with all of the looks because they can really make a difference. This time around I went for a casual vibe with a denim jacket and white sneakers. It’s an easy daytime outfit.

Simple
Of course, this dress can certainly shine on its own without any extra layers or accessories. I simply added a belt for a little shape. It’s very cute an comfortable!

Red
Instead of a sweater over top, I added a bright blazer. The blazer gives the dress a business-casual feel which makes it perfect for the workplace. I added matching Vivaia flats. They are so comfortable!

Vest
This collared shirtdress lends itself to layering a v-neck sweater or vest over top. To keep it from looking too ‘prep school’ I added suede boots which add the slightest bit of edge.

It doesn’t matter whether you purchase the Aventura Stirling Dress or not. Many of us have similar style dresses in our closets. After all, a shirtdress is a very classic style. These ideas can give you ways to switch up how you wear a dress you already own for a completely new look!
