What type of swimsuits catch your eye? What type are the ones you end up purchasing? It seems many people fall into 2 groups; muted versus loud and proud. While I am always trying to work on my confidence when wearing a swimsuit, I still love those eye-catching, brightly colored swimsuits. Swimsuits made in bright colors with lots of detail are so fun. Chicwish Background
If you have never heard of Chicwish before, here is some brief background information. Chicwish was founded in 2011 and has teams in the U.S., U.K., and Asia. This boutique-style website is focused on providing vintage-inspired and handmade collections as well as fashions that fit a cosmopolitan look, with a blend of East and West.
I received 3 different Chicwish swimsuits in different sizes and fits to review. I’ve had a lot of good luck with Chicwish clothing when considering the quality and fit.
This black suit is so cute with the three dimensional flowers and low cut back. I got a size small in this one, but it runs a little short in the torso. The measurements online are correct so go with those when determining size. I used a skirt from Chicwish as a coverup. This swimsuit works well as a bodysuit, too!
WHAT IS THE SIZING LIKE?
I found the sizing to generally run TTS depending on your body type. All of the items I ordered for this Chicwish review were a size small. When in doubt, size up. Each garment has the sizing details listed which really helps determine which size you should order. This is very helpful if you are unsure of your size. Depending on the garment, I wear a small or a medium. I find that the items tend to run a bit small/short so when it doubt, size up.

WHO CAN BUY CLOTHING ON CHICWISH?
While their website primarily targets the female customer, they do carry some children’s clothing and cute Mommy and me sets! I haven’t tried the children’s clothing yet, but I have certainly done some window shopping. The pieces they have are adorable!

For this magenta swimsuit I got another size small. This has a bit of a stretchier fit when compared to the black suit though and it fits really nicely. There is also ruching at the sides which really helps to camouflage any lumps and bumps. I love the drama the large ruffles and cut out add to this suit. I definitely got slapped in the face by those ruffles when I wore this on a windy day. Haha! Probably serves me right.
What is Shipping Like?
Generally, the delivery time of an order is the addition of 3-4 business days of processing time and shipping time. One thing to note is that Chicwish does not ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. Customers may track their shipment through the tracking link that’s sent through e-mail once the order has been shipped. They DO ship internationally.
This Bikini set came a little later than the other items so I wasn’t able to get photos outside in time. I’m wearing a size medium here. The top is a little big, but I like how the bottoms fit a lot. This design features a one shoulder ruffle and cut out in the back of the bikini bottoms. The orchid print is gorgeous!
IS THE QUALITY GOOD?
Overall, I am impressed with the quality of the garments I received. They are all beautiful in person and look more expensive than the actual cost. I notice the attention to details like lining, the feel of fabric, and securely ruffles. The swimsuits feel sturdy and the fabric is thick. All the swimsuits were completely lined.
BUT WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE IT?
If you are still unsure, I did research their return policy. And it’s a good one! Chicwish offers 30-day free returns. Items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging with tags still attached. To start your return, simply contact the brand for a return slip and further instructions.
Overall
Overall, I would say the quality is very good. The garments have really nice design, construction, and fabric. Sizing runs about a 1/2 size small from my perspective so you may want to size up.
