Just about a month ago I joined the Blonde Squad at the Laura Gellar luncheon in Chicago. When you write a fashion blog, there is some anxiety that comes with choosing an outfit for any blog related event. Seriously. Orchid you not! Haha! Whenever I have trouble choosing an outfit I try to start with one element. Maybe it’s an item I want to wear or an outfit formula and go from there. I pull everything out of my closet that goes with it and then start to eliminate options.
For the luncheon, I knew I wanted wide leg pants due to the weather that day. I finally chose pink wide leg pants because I loved how they paired with my lace top. Although I got this top last year I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet. The color palette kind of reminds me of orchids, especially with the extra purple from my Teddy Blake bag (click here for 10 ways to wear it) and purple drink!
