I thought I had covered all of the gorgeous options Chicwish has for Easter in my post a few weeks ago. Then this gorgeous floral Chicwish dress arrived in the mail. There are too many pretty details to keep it to myself.
Although the fabric is sheer, the body of the dress is completely lined so I did not need to wear a slip. I love the little ruffle at the bottom to give it movement when you walk. The blouson sleeves add movement as well, but they are cuffed which I find much more functional because they don’t get in your way. I’m not sure if you can tell, but the bodice of the dress is pleated and has functional buttons. That way you can wear it as modestly as you want, or not. I left one button open so you can get a glimpse of my necklace. There are also lace inserts at the bodice, skirt, and on the cuffs. It’s a small detail, but adds interest and character to the dress.
Of course I could not resist bringing out the pink in this Chicwish floral dress by accessorizing with pink heels, earrings, and a Teddy Blake bag. All of the spring colors in this print make me feels so hoppy! 🐰
