The Blonde Squad is back again! I love these ladies and am so lucky to have met them through blogging and had so many fun posts and adventures with them in read life. Although we have often collaborated for a fashion post, today we are trying a different twist. How would you spend $100 at Target? It’s truly a store with everything from groceries, to clothing to camping gear. And of course, we can’t forget all that home decor cuteness! So each of us headed to our respective Target stores to fill up our carts as much as inflation allows us. Make sure you check out Jill, Kathrine, Andrea, and Caroline to see their $100 Target haul items as well!
Our local Target is under renovations so it was a bit interesting. There weren’t as many items in stock, but I didn’t have too many issues finding some great things to purchase. So what did I buy?
The breakdown:
- Olive green pants– $35
- 2 bags of Flavreds Starburst jellybeans $6.98
- 2 bags of original Starburst jellybeans $6.98
- 2 boxes of Cadbury eggs $7
- 2 Jelly belly bags $2
- Box of Kinder eggs $9.99
- Egg Dye Kit $3
- Trifold display board $9.49
- Easter Sidewalk Chalk $2.99
- Bridal shower card $3.99
- Magic color book $3
Total $97.43
I clearly had Easter on the mind! Since we are visiting Arizona in early April, I’m trying to get a few things for Easter baskets ahead of time. Also, we really like starburst jelly beans and I needed something to fill my candy bowl. Hopefully even though we will be traveling on Easter we will be able to dye eggs so I got a fun egg dye kit.
Claire has the science fair today and I needed the display board for her. I also needed the greeting card for a bridal shower I went to this weekend.
On the way out, I saw some cute clothing. I’ve been on the lookout for new olive pants. There were some cute ones, but only 2 in my size so I tried them on. One pair fit so oddly, but the other pair was really cute with a straight leg and tie waist. They will be really nice for work and casual days when I don’t feel like jeans.
Looking over my purchases it doesn’t look very inspirational. Haha! Mostly I try to stick to my list and not veer off. There were so many cute easter pillows and decor if I didn’t have enough though. It did get me wanting to decorate this week. I love all the pretty pastel colors!
Now, go check out all of the other lovely ladies of the Blonde Squad and see what they purchased at Target!
