Let’s not forget about Thanksgiving! It’s just around the corner. Since we often host Thanksgiving, I’ve learned to have a plan in place and try to get as many things decided and completed before the actual day. Then I’m able to enjoy more time with family. I thought a round-up type post would be helpful for everyone today with some outfit inspiration, must-haves, and maybe a little more!
First up, having an outfit decided makes the beginning of the day much easier. Whether your plans include dressy, casual, or comfortable, I’ve put together some outfits that will help with some of my favorite Aventura pieces!
Dressy
This skirt is my ultimate favorite Aventura piece. It’s been seen many times on the blog. For this outfit, I paired it with a navy sweater and very comfortable footless tights. It’s hard to see, but they have a pretty navy and burgundy pattern.

Casual
Probably my go-to is a casual outfit for Thanksgiving. A nice sweater and chinos will help you blend in at a dressier meal or even a more comfortable style meal. You will never look out of place and still be fairly comfortable. The Lauren sweater I’m wearing is so pretty. I love the colors and the fair isle is always in style for fall and winter!

Comfortable
Even more casual than casual and you have pure comfort. I love the oversized Astoria fleece top. It’s so comfy and cozy. I added a pop of color with the Eden Turtleneck underneath. I’m actually wearing footless tights in lieu of leggings.

Thanksgiving Must-Haves
If you are hosting or just looking to bring some extra fun to your meal I’ve rounded up some great items that will help to add to the enjoyment of the day. The chocolate pinatas and paintable cookies are a personally tested hit with the kids. I thought the leftover containers were super cute! And I use labels similar to the chalkboards at every event I host. It’s great for annotating any dishes that may have allergens, too.

Don’t forget about those leftovers either! Here is a list of recipes you can make to use up the leftovers in creative and delicious ways.
