How are you enjoying the fall weather where you are? We are loving the warmer days with crisp mornings and evenings. Layers are a must! And since we have our windows open constantly, it stays somewhat chilly (for me) in our home. That means layers are especially needed for me! Enter this Cabi blue plaid blazer.
Since I work from home and do speech therapy virtually with students, I always try to look professional from the top up, at the very least. Blazers and collared shirts help lend a professional vibe. What set this blue plaid blazer apart from the rest for me was the slimmer arm style which is more flattering. There is also a sewn in waistline that accentuates the waist. Another fabulous detail are the gold buttons at the waist and wrists that add interest and help to elevate the look even further-even if you pair it with jeans! Between the eye to detail and this fabulous navy plaid pattern, it makes a brilliant update to the classic navy blazer. Perfect for a fall work outfit!
I kept the rest of my outfit simple because this subtle print could easily get lost. I paired it with white denim and added more blue with my comfy blue flats and a cobalt blue Teddy Blake bag.
What do you think of this elevated navy blazer?
Last week’s favorite was Rena from It’s All Fine, Whatever Tickles the Fancy and her absolutely fabulous leopard dress. I love the bold orange purse she wore with it!
