I can’t believe fall is almost halfway over! But the fun is just beginning, right? We’ve had lots of fun apple picking and at a pumpkin patch. However, the holidays and times for hosting guests are right around the corner. I’ve already started holiday shopping and planning for Thanksgiving. How about you?
With the holidays comes lots of visiting with friends and family. I find it nice to bring a small gift to anyone hosting to show our appreciation. To make it easier, I try to have a few different things on hand so I can wrap them up last minute if I ever need a little gift. Whenever I host and someone brings something for me, it is always so kind! So here are some ideas you can bring as a hostess gift this holiday season.
Jøyus non-alcoholic wines– Wine is a great go-to hostess gift. But what about a non-alcoholic wine? It’s nice to have that option for those driving, who just want to avoid alcoholic, or may be pregnant. This is a really good brand that I’ve tried.
Hand cream– I love this handcream because of the twist lid. It makes it easier to apply. You twist it and it opens so you can squeeze out the lotion. I wonder if it would be easier if someone has arthritis?
GYV candles– These are the prettiest candles! I love the shape of them and they smell amazing, too.
Honey sampler– We LOVE hot honey on pizza. It’s also really good on chili. This sampler has hot honey, meyer lemon, and salted honey. I think the salted honey would be so good on cornbread. There is also a really good siracha sampler.
Apron– I’m forever leaving my oven mitts all over the kitchen and can never find them when the timer goes off. This apron is so neat because it has the oven mitts built in. So handy!
Liquor Whaaat Chocolate Beavers– If your host has a humorous side, these cream filled chocolate beavers are perfect. There are milk and dark chocolate versions filled with rum or champagne. And they are very good!
Bamboo Sheets– If your host is having overnight guests, a nice set of sheets is a thoughtful idea. These are buttery smooth and help prevent you from getting to hot at night. They also have extra elastic built in the fitted sheet to help it stay in place.
Home Decor- This sweet farmhouse house is bound to find a spot in anyone’s home. And it’s interchangeable so it will be perfect year round!
Chalkboard labels– These reusable little signs could be great on a buffet to label food, or used as place cards. Don’t forget to include some chalk markers!
Indoor garden– I have one of these and really like it. I have grown herbs and flowers. It is nice to have fresh herbs and growing flowers in the dead of winter.
