When there is a special occasion and I want my hair to look the part, what do I do? The answer is simple. Accessorize it! Since my hair is fairly thick, I often skip clips and barrettes. I have never really found any that work! There was a time I couldn’t even manage a bun until I found these extra long pins and bobby pins. So what is a girl to do? Until we in the states embrace the fascinator, it’s all about the headbands. There are many different styles and colors. Headbands can truly add glamor to your hairstyle and outfit.
There are certainly some expensive headbands out there. However, I have had a lot of luck with ones under $20 I’ve purchased from amazon. In fact, I’ve rounded up my favorite headbands that are perfect for the holidays. They are all shown below, including one very similar to what I’m wearing in this post. From my own experience, these headbands look far more expensive than they are! They do last. I purchased versions of 1 and 3 a year ago and they still look brand new.
