Just a couple of months ago I did a Walmart Summer Haul and try on that you all really liked. I took a peek at the walmart fall fashions recently. Ladies, they are so good! They might even be better than the summer items. I just had to order them and see them in person. Here are the items I picked out for a Walmart fall haul and my thoughts on each of them.
Leather Pleated Dress- $54
I’m not sure if you can tell from photos, but this is a very deep plum shade called aubergine. It is stunning! I love the pleats. The material is stretchy and soft on the inside so it’s comfortable to wear, too.
Verdict-Still out! I love this dress but can’t decide if there are enough reasons for me to wear it.
Puffer Jacket-$25
This jacket has so many options with color and prints. The price ranges anywhere from $15-35. This was $25. I actually didn’t expect to like this as much as I do! I fully expected to return it, but this was a strong YES for me! And it’s such a deal, too.
Verdict-Kept and can’t wait to wear.
Plaid Sweater Vest- $13
This vest is the cutest. I love the neutral colors and you can’t go wrong with plaid! It does run about 1 size small though. I’m wearing a small and wish I would have sized up to a medium because it was a bit too short on me.
Verdict-returned
Plaid Kick Crop Pants- $32
These pants are so darn cute! They run TTS and feel like good quality to me. I love them for work. I tried them with heels, but they look good with flats and I can’t wait to try them with loafers. The only drawback is there aren’t other color options!
Verdict-Keep
Plaid Double Breasted Blazer-$45
I’m not headed to an interview anytime soon, but I would so rock this if I were! I do have jury duty next month so maybe if I get called in I could slip this on? Ha!
Verdict-on the fence still
Quilted Puff Sleeve Top ($27) & Quilted Joggers ($27)
This set is super cute and I love the rust color of it. The top is definitely my favorite of the two pieces. The pants run a little bit. I am wearing an XS and wish they were just a bit more fitted.
Verdict-returned since I am getting a similar quilted top from Aventura soon.
Button Shoulder Mini Dress- $34
This groundbreaking fall floral dress (wink, wink) is so fun and flirty! I love the pink and navy combination and cute flouncy bottom. It’s good quality and made of 100% cotton. I’m wearing a size small.
Verdict-returned because I have similar dresses already.
Striped Half Sip Pullover- $30
Of course you can’t go wrong with striped! I’m seeing collared sweaters everywhere for fall and wanted to try Walmart’s version. This one is nice and chunky. I really like the contracting brown cuffs and neckline. The blue is a gorgeous shade in person. It does run a bit big, but it is supposed to. I’m wearing a size small.
Verdict-returned because I have similar sweaters.
Overall
I ended up returned the majority of items because quite frankly I don’t have enough hangers. Ha! But seriously, the items are all super cute, I do try to be very selective in what I add to my closet. The prices were right and the fits were pretty good on all of the pieces. Which is your favorite? I really like that plaid coat and leather dress!
