Well it’s week three of our kitchen tile being replaced. I think the end is in sight! There is just a bit more in the laundry room and bathroom where they have to move appliances or the toilet. Then the mosaic tile of our tile rug and grouting to do. It’s just so much tile! But it looks fantastic. I can’t wait to see it all grouted and actually clean my floors so there isn’t a layer of grit over everything! But will it be done by weekend? Maybe. Maybe not.
Or shall I say navy? Navy not. Oddly, after 9+ years blogging I’ve seen a number of comments and other bloggers regarding the color navy. As in, people sometimes have trouble knowing how to wear it. Honestly this blows my mind! I absolutely adore the color navy in outfits because it complements nearly every color I can think of. To me, navy is actually better than black. Why? It’s softer, less harsh. But it’s still a neutral that allows other colors to shine. And it can work to help ground an outfit.
That’s why I love this Aventura navy tank! It goes with all of my shorts and skirts. And it goes beyond basic with the pretty eyelet detail on top and keyhole detail in the back. I paired my navy tank with some floral seersucker shorts and pink accessories when we went to the zoo a couple of weeks ago. It kept me nice and cool for all of that walking outside.
Are you a fan of navy or not?
