How is the weather where you are? It’s pretty darn, pinkin’ hot here! The head index was well over 100 degrees the past 2 days. The humidity makes it so oppressive. Although I grew up in Texas, I am not a person that can take heat like this! Claire had an outdoor swim meet Tuesday evening. I was about to slip someone a $20 to get them to let me jump in the pool!
I recently got this pink open weave sweater with the idea of using it as a swimsuit coverup. The size small I got is thigh length and it works well for that. But when I opened the packaged, it was so cute I wanted to try it other ways as well. The open weave of the sweater has a relaxed, beachy vibe I’m totally here for. This sweater would be cute with a half tuck and shorts. I leaned into the coastal vibe and paired it a pair of wide leg pants that I’ve had for ages! Looking back, my favorite way I’ve worn them is with this open weave sweater! Now, I’m not sure how this sweater will get more wear- as a coverup, or with casual outfits.
