Although Valentine’s Day is far from a romantic day for me at this point, that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun to celebrate! My daughters and I like to decorate with little items around the house. Decorating for Valentine’s Day helps us transition from the full-on cozy festivity of the holidays. Then the house doesn’t have that odd empty feeling. We have some mailboxes we set out and give them little gifts in. The girls and I like to make heart shaped cookies and pizzas, too. And we can’t forget doing heart-shaped pigtails!
Of course, I have a small collection of heart printed or pink/red items I like to wear this time of year, too. Many heart-printed or love-themed items can be worn for Valentine’s Day and beyond.
