Let’s talk this show stopping blouse! This Caite and Kyla black chambray blouse is better on the way out than the way in! I mean look at that incredible embroidery! The bold colors are seriously stunning. I am loving the darker shade of chambray-all I own is a light blue. The flowers stand out even more. Another plus is that the longer tunic length makes this top more versatile since it can be worn out or tucked in, depending on the bottoms. I paired it with these Spanx patent leather leggings. My husband surprised me with them a few weeks ago. Spanx came out with them last year and I was curious. I just wasn’t feeling bold enough to try them.
After wearing them twice so far, I’ve decided I like them. These patent leggings are not easy to put on. They are far less stretchy than their leather (non-patent) cousins so it’s a little at a time. They also seem a bit warmer and thicker. The ankles are not as fitted. The sizing is the same as the well-known and loved leather leggings. And to answer that all-consuming question? Yes they do creak like an old house in the wind. I only noticed it with a few movements, and it wasn’t too loud. In spite of that, I still like that shine! They are a fun alternative and good for date nights.
