If you are thinking this outfit seems very appropriate for the fall workplace, I’m in complete agreement with you. This ivory sweater vest I’d ordered finally arrived so I wanted to wear it asap. I ended up paired it with my bow tie blouse and burgundy corduroy skirt and boots for a workwear look.
Why? Well I’ve got work on my mind. Just over two weeks ago an opportunity came along that I couldn’t pass up. My friend shared my name for a speech therapy job for a small high school in Wisconsin 2 days a week. I started just a few days later. It’s been a whirlwind of trying to adjust my schedule and find appropriate materials since all of mine are gear towards elementary! Thankfully it is virtual so I am able to work from home and it’s not too many hours. I’m excited to keep up my skills and work with older students. It will be a great experience!
I’m also happy to pull out some of my neglected workwear clothes. Even though it’s just over the computer, I want to look professional. The sweater vest trend works well for work and I love it paired with my favorite burgundy corduroy skirt!
