I am BEYOND red-y for today, and it’s not just because of this gorgeous red blouse I recently picked up! It is because today is the first day in over a year that Claire is going back to school-FULL TIME! I am so excited for her and hope and pray that it can continue for the rest of the school year. She has missed her friends and I know the schedule changes and virtual learning has not been easy on her (or me). Her teacher has been amazing, but teachers can only do so much from a computer screen. And as an 8 year old, the visual, auditory, and tactile elements of learning are all so important. So Hurray for today! I am so red-y!
And speaking of red, this gorgeous red blouse was one of 4 tops I picked up at Target last week. I have been trying to take time for myself and visit a store for no purpose other than the pleasure of browsing. Do you remember those times, ladies? Before we felt the need to get in and get out and sanitize a million times between? I digress. This top and another one I will show you later this week are the two I ended up keeping. The other two were darling, just not for me! This blouse also comes in two other prints and I’m kind of loving the cream version, too!
