Are you feeling a bit short on time or motivation this year? It feels like things always add up and those Christmas treats can be pushed to the back burner. So if you are wanting to make a few things for your family, but worried about having enough time, here are 5 easy cookies or treats that are super fast and easy to prepare!
I have been making this for years and years! I probably end up making about 6 batches each year because it seems to disappear rather quickly! A box of saltines makes about 3 batches. It comes together in under 15 minutes and you can put it in the freezer to harden the chocolate and toffee even more quickly!
Oh yes, the slow cooker can even be used to prepare delicious Christmas treats! Or you can use the microwave if you find that more convenient. It will depend on the size of the batch you are making and the bowls and slow cooker sizes you have. I shared this recipe using Cheerios, but you can use Rice Krispies or even Cocoa Krispies to switch it up! I do a big bowl and scoop them onto cookie sheets then pop the sheets in the freezer. By the time one sheet is full I can pull out the hardened sheet of cookies from the freezer! I would say it takes me about 30 minutes for a large batch. Easy layered fudge

I’ve made this a few times as well. The first time I made it, I did it with the candy canes, but it’s fun to switch it up a bit and use almond extract instead of peppermint, or mint extract and dye a layer green! You could probably even try lemon or orange extract, too!

These are another no-bake recipe and look so pretty on a cookie plate with different colors! A batch makes quite a bit and your kids can help you roll them out!

There are many versions of these with rolos, kisses, or hugs and topping them with M&Ms or pecans. I’ve even seen reindeer versions!
I hope you find some delicious treats to try out and add to your holiday baking list this year!
