This week to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ada is doing a week’s worth pink outfits; each day with a different theme. Today I am pairing up with her for pink monochrome. I know, I know, most people want to avoid pink monochrome because it can feel juvenile, un-sophisticated, ultra-girly, and reminiscent of Barbie. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Keeping the look tailored and incorporating different shades of pink, and adding in a navy blazer and nude shoes to help ground the outfit. Ada went for a cute call layered look with pink printed pants and a poncho. Make sure you stop by to check out her post, too!
I took a look back at past blog posts. I bought these pants back in 2014 and with a coupon I had, they were under $6. I’ve worn them on the blog quite a few times, to work even more, and I created a few more extra outfit ideas. Bright pink pants don’t need to be a scary addition to your closet! There are many ways to wear them and colors to pair with them. Here are some ideas to help:
Black, Grey, and White
