It’s another month and I am linking up with The Blended Blog for their TBB Asks! I’m a day + a few hours late, but better late than never!
1. Candy canes? No thank you. I am not a peppermint fan. Although I don’t mind it in hot cocoa occasionally.
2. Christmas morning early riser or sleep in? My kids are AWESOME! They typically get up around 7 so that I don’t think that really qualifies as either which is perfectly fine with me.
3. Did you shop on Black Friday? I think I put in an Amazon order and that was all. But that may have been Saturday. The few days after Thanksgiving are a bit of a blur! We celebrated my youngest daughter’s birthday with my parents and in-laws so there wasn’t time for shopping (not that I wanted to)!
4. Christmas tree up in November? Yes, we put it up the weekend after Thanksgiving traditionally.
5. Do you get Holiday ideas from Pinterest? Sometimes. I have my traditional decorations that I stick to so I might get a little idea here or there. This year I did front porch evergreen pots that pinterest inspired me to do.
6. Christmas glam or ugly sweaters? Christmas glam all the way!
7. Stocking stuffers-wrapped or unwrapped? Unwrapped. Santa brings the girls 2 gifts that he wraps, but the stocking stuffers are unwrapped.
8. Traditional or modern Christmas songs? A mix of both please! Variety is the spice of life!
9. Fruitcake? Honestly fruitcake scares me so much I’ve never even tried it.
10. Is you Christmas shopping finished? Heck no! I’m probably about halfway done. I do make some gifts so that takes extra time though.
11. Is there snow in December where you live? Typically. We had a decent amount of snow already (and a snow day!) but it’s melted since then. I am sure we will get several more snowfalls before Christmas although I am not sure yet if we will have the traditional ‘White Christmas.’
12. Classic show: A Charlie Brown Christmas or Rudolf? Rudolf! I love the songs and Island of Misfit Toys and the message behind it!
