One
of my absolute favorite things to do is travel to new places. My love for
travel started early when my dad was stationed south of Seoul, South Korea. We
did a lot of sightseeing while living there and traveled to Thailand and Hong
Kong. Since then I have traveled to Europe numerous times and many places in
the states as well. One thing I have learned is that there are so many
well-known travel destinations. They are the ones on many people’s bucket lists
like London, Paris, or Niagara Falls. But you shouldn’t dismiss lesser known
locals. If you are looking for somewhere new to travel this summer, I have
researched some underrated places around the world that you can try for a new
experience.
Here
are some of the top vacation destinations that you probably have never though
of traveling to:
Pune,
India
The
Pune region of India, in particular, is a wonderful place to visit. You can
stay at theCourtyard Pune
Hinjewadi, and be able to enjoy a wonderful summer vacation with your
family. India is a place which has a lot of temperature range in its climate
around the year. There are places in India that are either very hot or quite
chilly, however, Pune strikes a perfect balance between them. If you want a
comfortably warm climate to enjoy during your holiday, this is the perfect place
to come.
Isaan,
Thailand
Thailand is a stunning country which brings a mixture of paradise beaches,
wonderful natural landmarks, and a thriving nightlife. Most of the time when we
think about going to Thailand we end up going to Bangkok. Although Bangkok is a
great destination it is also incredibly expensive due to its popularity. To
avoid spending too much on your holiday this year you can visit somewhere
similar such as Isaan. It is a beautifularea and you will be able to save a ton of
money during your trip, as well as avoid the rushes of tourists.
Moldova
There are many countries in Europe which are largely underrated as holiday
destinations, and one of the most underrated of all has to be Moldova. It is a great holiday
spot for people who don’t enjoy a highly touristy area. It has forest, hills,
and is known for its vineyards and red wine. And you will be able to enjoy the
sights, smells and good in harmony as you get away from the hustle and bustle
of the real world for a while.
Montenegro
Another
country in Europe, Montenegro is a stunning location that looks like something
straight off a postcard. If you travel to this part of the world you will be
greeted with beautiful medieval villages, rugged mountains, thriving markets,
and crystal blue water. It is the perfect destination for anyone who loves a
bit of adventure and it will certainly bring a new sense of wonder and
appreciation into your life.
Peak
District, England
The Peak District National Park is a gorgeous area in the north of England
which features the iconic rolling hills, a whole myriad of wildlife and plenty
of water to cool off during the hot summer days. A perfect day in the Peak
District could include going for a hike in around Ladybower Reservoir, taking a picnic to the
top of the mountain, and then coming back down to Earth and visiting a proper
English pub for a beer. England is a stunning location, and there are many
underrated locations on these shores.
Try
something off the touristy path and try out somewhere new for your summer
vacation this year. I am sure you won’t be disappointed!
