Lately we have been getting tastes of warmer weather and it’s making me crave spring even more than I normally do. Our tulips and daffodils must think it’s spring too because they have started coming up earlier than I have ever seen them! I’ve slowly started the process of spring cleaning by going through some of our closets and dressers and purging clothes, toys, and other items. I have even been giving my skincare routine a bit of an cleaning up.
I like to think I have a good skincare routine. After cleansing I apply my favorite toner, serums, eye cream, and moisturizer. But if your face isn’t truly clean, it doesn’t matter what or how many skincare items you are putting on your face! It’s crucial to begin with clean skin so it can look and feel the best it can. How do you get your skin truly clean though?
So in an effort to better cleanse my skin, I’ve decided to add in a step that will actually be saving me time in the long run. I’m using the Remington Facial Cleansing Brush each night now. The advanced dual action head cleanses and exfoliates all at once. It’s 10x more effective than manual brushing and is even shower proof! I have been able to easily add it to my cleansing routine with my favorite cleanser. With the 1-minute pulsing timer and three speeds, I am spending less time cleansing my face each night as I did before and I know when to switch to a new part of my face and when I’ve thoroughly cleansed my face. When it is not in use, it stands easily on the charger or I can put it back into the beauty bag that is great for storage.
To use the brush each night, I get the brush head wet first. Then I add a bit of my favorite cleanser to the brush head. I turn the facial cleanser onto my desired speed and cleanse my face, moving it in a circular motion in an area for about a minute switching areas when the facial cleansing brush notifies me to by briefly pausing. Afterwards, I rinse my face and then rinse the brush head and return the cleansing brush to the charging stand. You can find your own Remington Facial Cleansing Brush at Walmart or on walmart.com.
