I’ve been wanting a pair of slim fitting black dress pants for a while. I wear my black jeans nonstop, but a dressier option is nice to have for work, night out, church, or other dressier occasions. When SlimStation contacted me and asked me to review a pair of their pants I was very interested. They have a nice slim fit and are made of a dressier fabric, but still have a stretch to them and they are wrinkle resistant. They are designed to move with you, but not stretch out which I found to be true. The pants are made to be figure flattering with a flexible tummy control panel to help give a smooth, slim figure.
I ended up choosing a pair of their classic black ankle pants. At 5’5″, they are the perfect length on me. I found them to run true to size. I was able to order them in the same size pants I wear at other stores and they fit perfectly. While I don’t feel or think I look 10 pounds lighter, I do like the fit and feel of the pants. At first I thought the tummy control panel would bother me instead of a typical zipper and button or snap, but since almost all of my tops cover it anyway it isn’t an issue.

I ended up pairing it with my new sweater from Makemechic. Add a pair of red pumps and a clutch and I am set for a holiday work party or winter date night look. Makemechic has been killing it with the details in their sweaters lately and this one is no exception. I can’t get over the crisscross detail on the arms. For a daytime look I would consider layering a colored long sleeve tee underneath to help stay warm while accentuating the sleeve detail.
