Last week my hubby gave me the night off. It had been a stressful week for several reasons and it was so nice to have a few hours to myself. I was able to get a new book to read (I’m done with my course now so I have time to read! Well, besides the new Harry Potter book because I finished that a while ago…), use a JCP coupon, and check out Express. I’ve been admiring the Portofino and Barcelona tops on Gina and Rachelle for a while and needed to try them out for myself.
Not only was I able to find this fabulous sleeveless Portofino on sale (not available online, but maybe in stores), but I got a Barcelona camiand 3 pairs of jeans! The Portofino and Barcelona cami hang so well it is easy to see why they are so popular. I highly doubt these will be my last ones.
Their mid-rise legging jeans were super comfortable and actually fitted enough at the ankle. I did end up sizing down in the super soft wash since the waist is a little big. I ended up getting them in 3 washes, but I’m wearing a pair around the house to see how much they stretch out. There is nothing worse than jeans that begin to sag throughout the day. In my opinion, I want a belt as an accessory, not a necessity when wearing jeans! Overall, it was nice to go into a store and come out with a sizeable bag. I can’t remember the last time that happened, especially since I tend to shop online.
