We had such a great time visiting family in Georgia and Panama City Beach, Florida over the past two weeks. If you squint you might even be able to see my tan. I swear we loaded up with so much sunscreen my daughter doesn’t even have tan lines! Thankfully we didn’t need all that aloe I packed. I enjoyed packing for warm weather without worrying about a cold snap like we have in Wisconsin! Here are my vacation ready essentials:
1. Lightweight Blouse
The heat and humidity were high, but you can stay breezy and fresh in a lightweight blouse. This sheer one from Makemechic is loose and comfortable, but the ruffles really add interest so there is no need to worry about accessories. The best part is it looks good dressed up or down and takes up virtually no room in a suitcase! It’s a new favorite! I can’t get over how cute it is!

2. Crossbody Bag
You needs to have hands free on vacation! Personally I also like the extra security of having a bag around my neck and shoulder instead of just on my arm. There is not need to think about setting it down anywhere and forgetting it either. There are so many reasons I prefer a crossbody bag for vacation! I am loving this under $25 save option or this all leather splurge!

3. Wood Watch
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, wood watches are great year round, but I am particularly fond of them in summer! They are so lightweight and their uniqueness makes a statement without the need for additional accessories. I have the Cora Zebrawood and Turquoise, but this Maple Fieldcrest is such a neutral it looks great with any outfit-casual or dressy. If you don’t have any extra room in your suitcase, this watch is your solution.
