It has been so incredibly hot lately I have been relying on loose, airy tops like this white eyelet onefrom Makemechic to help stay cool. If you are wanting an airy fit like I did, make sure you size up. I am wearing a medium here. With loose tops like this, length is key. To help ensure you are getting a versatile top, choose something slightly longer than hip length. That way it still has a relaxed feel, but isn’t too long to be worn with shorts. A hemline like the one on this top that isn’t straight across helps to break up the line across your hips so you aren’t drawing attention to one of the widest parts of your body.

And can we just take a moment to discuss these pom pom sandals?! I’ve been wanting a pair for weeks and debated even making them myself. It’s been a busy summer with a lot on my to-do list so I haven’t been able to yet. Now, for less than $30 I don’t have to! The colored pom poms and tassels are so fun I can’t wait to wear them more! They really add interest and a boho vibe to any summer look!

See how I’ve worn these jeans with black, lots of layers, plaid vest, baseball hat and Sperrys, super casually, and a coral top.
