Confident Twosday: Blue Scuba Skirt

It’s been a busy few days for us! Currently I am attending a speech and language conference that we drove to straight from a weekend at the in-laws celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday (which was right after my hubby’s work trip). Whew! Lots of driving and traveling time and a skilled bit of coordination, but well worth it. It was so nice seeing family this weekend. I feel we are especially blessed with the family we have on both sides. You know the saying, “You don’t get to choose your family,” but given the choice, I would still choose them!

With all the work trips my husband takes, it is nice to be able to take one of my own now. It’s even better that it happens to be at a hotel with several indoor water parks so Matt and Claire came, too. So I am doing lots of learning and they are having a splashing good daddy-daughter time together. A win-win all around!

Today I am showing a skirt I got a while back from ifchic. It’s my first item made from scuba fabric and I love the thick feel. Light blue is such a pretty color paired with darker colors for winter or lighter pastels and neutrals for spring. Definitely a year-round versatile piece. This pretty skirt definitely made me feel more confident when wearing this outfit!
