I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! We are planning on celebrating this coming weekend. Matt was out of town part of last week which makes it a little harder to get the arrangements done for us to make our traditional gourmet meal. We did exchange cards and he gave me some of my favorite chocolates and wine. It’s funny, I always said I wanted to give gifts for holidays and take time for celebrations, but at certain points in your life, it’s easier to be low-key. I personally believe occasional low-key celebrations are fine for a relationship as long as you appreciate each other every day!

Last week was so incredibly cold here. I’ve been living in layers and blanket scarves. And then this cardigan arrived from SheIn. It was perfect for the cold temps and will even work as an outer layer as the weather warms up (hopefully soon)! I don’t have anything this long and love the blanket-feel of it! I might have to call it my blanket cardigan now! The colored trim on the bottom and edges of the sleeves adds fun interest. I normally shy away from orange, but this is just the right amount. The grey color still makes it versatile! Feeling this good wearing a color I normally avoid is definitely making me feel confident this week!
