Burgundy Coat and Blanket Scarf

One Wednesday I reviewed a sweatshirt I had received from Newchic. This scarf and jacket were two other items I received. After seeing how much I wear my other blanket scarf, I wanted a black and white one as a neutral option. This scarfis perfect. It is slightly less ‘full’ than my other blanket scarf which still easily keeps me warm, but isn’t quite so hard to wear. At less than $10 you can’t beat the price either. I won’t pay over $10 for a blanket scarf. There are too many places with options for much cheaper. And as soft as this one is, I am very pleased.

The jacket was the last item I received. It’s cute, warm, and I like the two options of how to wear it. However, I think I actually sized up too much for this one. It’s too big in the arms and shoulders. I am wearing a size 8 and a size 6 would have been perfect. This is one item you don’t need to size up in when ordering. The quality is as expected for a $13 item. It is a soft felt material that feels nice, but I am not sure yet how it will hold up over time or in the wash. For now, it’s a nice option as a jacket that is different than anything else I own.

Overall, I was pretty pleased with the items. I am definitely keeping my sweatshirt and scarf, but will probably donate this jacket just due to size. If it had been a better fit it would have stayed though. Have you tried Newchic? What are your thoughts?
